1) The traders who opened mid-term positions in the favor of the US dollar according to my recommendations (refer to Daily-301008), can close them with total profit of more than 2000 pips or to place closer trailing-stop orders as the situation on the small time-frames becomes indefinite.

It isn’t rule out that in the framework of the alternate scenario corrective wave (B) of [5] is developing in the form of a supposed zigzag (refer to Monthly-1108). If the supposition is true the mid-term price rise will continue.

Supposedly the long-term price trend in the favor of the USD hasn’t completed yet. At the moment on the back of this trend local correction against the dollar of about 400 pips is expected.
The wave counting doesn’t rule out that the ending stage of the US dollar’s strengthening will start Monday right after the above-mentioned correction. That’s why the forecast for Monday may be released earlier than usually in order not to miss the optimal entry point. 1. 1) The wave counting doesn’t rule out that the ending stage of the US dollar’s strengthening will start in the nearest future right after the completion of the correction that is considered in detail in the article Barrier and Other Triangles. the main levels and targets sufficient to making trading plans are also given in this article.
2) The traders who opened short-term positions against the US dollar according to my recommendations it is time to think about their closing with the total profit of several hundreds pips (refer to Daily-071108).

Suppositions given in the article Barrier and Other Triangles and Daily-101108 are confirmed. Traders who placed orders in advance according to my recommendations may take the first portion of profit and plan further trade in the favor of the US dollar.
But note please the critical levels indicated in the today’s forecast. In spite of the fact that the expected targets aren’t reached yet if the price crosses the critical levels it may mean the mid-term trend reversal against the US dollar and consequently the reversal of mid-term trading positions.

It isn’t ruled out that another round of the US dollar’s strengthening is completed. If the supposition is true a durable correction – horizontal or with an inclination against the dollar might develop.

The development of zigzag A-B-C of (W) might be completed. Its completion will be confirmed if the price fixes above the 1.31..1.33 levels. The developing upward impulse or [a] may be the beginning of a durable correction (X).
The possibility of the dollar’s strengthening (the decline of EUR/USD) as the alternate scenario considered earlier isn’t cancelled yet.

The current wave construction allows several variants of counting a pair of which is given in the charts. At the moment they both point to possible weakening of the USD (the decline of USD/JPY), synchronous with the European currencies in the nearest future.
In case the price fixes above the critical level the current scenarios may be cancelled.

1) For the last several days there were several letters in which wave analysts pay attention to the fact that the terminus of the wave ii of (i) of [a] of GBP/USD went beyond the beginning of the impulse (i) (refer to Figure 4, below).
I would like to note that there is no breach of the rules here. The relative position of the main waves of a pattern is determined by their terminuses, while the component parts of the main waves can enter the «forbidden» territory. I wrote about this in 2004 году (refer to Some explanations) and mentioned in my book (page 197).

Please note that in this case the terminus of wave [w] of ii and not the terminus of wave ii itself went beyond the beginning of wave i. from my pint of view such an intersection of waves is quite acceptable.
2) Forecast for December will be released this weekend.
