　　由美国期刊编辑联合会（The American Society of Magazine Editors）评选的“美国国家期刊奖”最终提名名单日前公布，该评选每年一度，本次入选的仍是那些大名鼎鼎的老牌杂志。

　　Conde Nast出版公司的《纽约客》（New Yorker）杂志获得了包括“最佳期刊奖”的10项提名，其他入选的大赢家还包括《名利场》（Vanity Fair）和《大西洋月刊》（Atlantic Monthly），分别获得7项和5项提名。获得三项提名的杂志包括：Fairchild 出版公司的《细节》杂志（Details）；Hearst杂志公司的《君子》杂志（Esquire）；时代公司的《财富》杂志（Fortune）；Conde Nast公司的《美食家》杂志（Gourmet）、《纽约杂志》（New York Magazine）；以及时代公司的《体育画报》（Sports Illustrated）。

　　那些首次获得提名的杂志颇引人注目，比如近来颇为流行的《信徒》杂志（Believer），和饮食类免费广告杂志《烹饪画报》（Cook's Illustrated）。《纽约杂志》在去年更换了新东家，又请来了新主编Adam Moss，一举获得自1993年以来的首次多项提名，令人侧目。
