Wow, good recommendations. I have read the 1st and 3rd which I found very helpful. Personally, I feel that it was good for me to start with the Prechter book to get the overall definitions, but it's somewhat of an academic approach if you will. However, to make it practical, it's hard to beat Dynamic Trading. A bit pricey but worth it, or, consider his newer book as well:
High Probability Trading Strategies, Entry to Exit Tactics for the Forex, Futures, and Stock Markets. by Robert Miner
Would you care to provide a mini-review of Balan's book? It's not available on Amazon but I see there are plenty of PDF's one can find on Google.

I believe Balan's book is out of print now. And although free downloads can be had of it in pdf form, I'm wondering why no publisher has thought of re-issuing the book since it's the only one, as far as I know, that tackles Elliott Wave analysis as applied to forex.

Yellow color ABC correction is almost near ending stage, think. And this ABC is near the 61.8% fibo of 5 impulse waves..
Wave C from 1.4095 can be subdivided into abc, and sub wave C is equal to 162% of sub wave A.

My counts on usdjpy. The price is at WC of a flat now. However, I do not think WC is done just yet. It might go up to 99 in a 5-wave weary rally and end up with an ending diagonal at 50% or 61% Fib Ret level which are good places to go short there. I am expecting a big retracement of the recent up move testing the support trendline though. I think the price action may be going to be choppy and has a lot of overlapping portions. but finally will get up to 50% or 61.8% Fib level (even 78.6%). I find it difficult to trade in this condition and probably stay out of Yen pairs for a while

I personally think there is should be more contributions to this thread. Lets turn up the fire and heat this thread up a little bit. As an elliot waver, you all know this is by far one of the most accurate forecasting tools for the market. I really want to hear from you guys what you guys see on the charts. I am in Eurusd. Anyone who wants to discuss this particular pair using the Elliot's i am more than happy. Sometimes trying to locate those points can be difficult.
Anyway, this is what i see on the Eurusd chart. Any comment is welcome ofcourse. As for me...its friday night and i opening up my first beer waiting for the Non Farm data to be out.

The current spike up on Eurusd is just a mere markets reverse reaction on the worse than expected Non-Farm data. I still see wave 5 heading downwards from here....we are probably hitting the high or maybe going up higher before heading down for wave 5. There is still room for wave 4 to go up...but very limited.

wouldn't count as impulse wave down from here.
got lost counting this down move, but the down move from 1.47 can be considered as B wave?

The two most important rules in Elliott Wave Theory are these (both taken from "Elliott Wave Principle" by Frost and Prechter):
Page 41: "The single most important rule that can be gleaned from a study of the various corrective patterns is that corrections are never fives"
Page 31: "In an impulse, wave 4 does not enter the territory of (i.e. overlap) wave 1."......"Elliott further discovered that in price terms, wave 3 is often the longest and never the shortest among the three actionary waves (1,3 and 5).
The only time that wave 4 can enter the price territory of wave 1 is in either a Leading or Ending diagonal. So, if what you depicted on your chart is either one of those, then your count could still be valid, but you haven't depicted it as such.

I posted what i see and i believe in, i could be right...i could be wrong...and i believe that happens to all of us all the time and thats is why we are in this forum...to share knowledge. I'm watching an alternate count (but close!), mainly because cable stopped at a conflunce of projections and it could already have the bottom in place.
If you have a look at each wave down of this correction it is a 3 wave move, so I wouldnt rule out the same outcome
for this last wave...

Check ActivTrades. I've had an account with them for a while, and like them a lot. Especially the execution is great. No hesitation or requotes at all.

There's a lot of confusion regarding USDCHF lower timeframes, well at least for me (H1, even H4), a lot of choppyness and no clear direction. If we step back and look at the Daily we clearly see a first impulsive move down which sugest us that we should see at least another impulsive move down. So the longer term bias is bearish.
Zooming in to H4 we see two moves down that look like nice abc correction with c=a. This "correction" is not marked on the attached chart. Because I am looking at an alternate count that sugests that it is not a correction but an impulse followed by a 3-wave correction that is rather messy. I like this alternate count because it is bearish thus goes along with daily and because the waves of the correction all fall in place: correction top at point (c) falls exactly at 50% ret of wave A or I, corrective wave (c) is exactly 62% of wave (a).
So if this scenario matches with reality then we should see high momentum bearish movement any moment from now.
That's all for now guys, would be glad to read other opinions on usdchf. Take care...

I redraw your chart but I include fibo inside.
So now we are between 23.6% (1.3967) and 38.2% (1.4159).
50% is 1.4317 or at least wave IV at 1.4220... is it here wave V?
